Microsoft and 343 Games came to Gamescom with some big Halo-related announcements. Perhaps none were as big as the unveiling of Halo TV, the dedicated Xbox One channel for all things Halo. To learn more about this new Halo hub, Shacknews went to Cologne, Germany to speak to 343 Industries' studio head, Bonnie Ross.

"Think of it as the home of all things Halo," Ross told Shacknews. "It's an interactive digital network, where everything you want to watch and do is connected. So you want to watch Halo: Nightfall? You want to hear more about the universe? We have the encyclopedia in there. Or most importantly, you want to play and watch games. With the Twitch partnership, you could watch whatever you want. You can watch the pros, you can watch your friends, and then you can jump into a game whenever you want, right from the channel."

Ross also went into detail about the Halo Channel's interactivity, as well as some of what you can get by watching the Halo Channel. To find out everything you need to know about accessing all Halo content, including multiplayer sessions, watch our full interview with Ross in the video below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
