Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition brings copter fire to Xbox 360

For a couple of years now, the only place you were able to play the arcade shooter Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition was on the PlayStation 3, either with a physical release or via digital download. However, Xbox 360 owners can finally get a turn today, thanks to a new release on Games On Demand.

Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition is available now, and features a ton of shooting action as you, guiding a helicopter in to enemy territory, gun down everyone in your sight. The game brings an interesting wrinkle in "shmup" gameplay, as you can actually turn your helicopter to shoot enemies from an angle.

The game retails for $19.99, but doesn't take up that much space at all, clocking in at just under 1GB in size. Head on over and download, "shmup" fans!

I'm not sure if you're joking, but the 360 had a lot of shmups, at least if you're aware of all the japanese games that were released for it without region locking.

Oddly, the 360 (afaik) had a stronger shmup library than the PS3 due to Cave releasing so much stuff for it - Under Defeat HD was one of the few things the PS3 got instead of the 360, and now this.

          Akai Katana
          DDP SDJ
          Espgaluda II
          Mushihimesama Futari
          Deathsmiles

Also, Raiden IV and Raiden Fighters Aces

There's other stuff too, from XBLA but I can't remember the names.

Oh, mis-parsed what you meant. You meant more things needed to come to Steam.
