Adventurers that have been making their way through the isle of Wraeclast are in for a treat today. Grinding Gear Games have deployed the latest expansion for Path of Exile, titled Forsaken Masters.

As mentioned previously, the new expansion features new story content centering around the featured seven Masters that wander the continent. They'll randomly pop up at any point to offer missions that will help improve player reputation, leading to the eventual reveal of the Masters' hidden secrets.

Other additions include an unlockable Hideout area, an updated passive skill tree, revamped content, new items, mods, skills, and 'Rampage' and 'Beyond' Challenge Leagues.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Great game and great trailer. This expansion looks pretty fantastic. It may be time to revisit an old friend.

Totally recommend anyone this title if you like ARPG's. Loved the skill tree! :)

Thank the seven glorious hells for a targeted crafting system!
How many thousands of forums posts did that take?
I left the game because I was sick of the mindless RNG grind, whilst the "hardcore" crowd stood on the sidelines declaring any change that made crafting more tolerable would be the end of PoE.
Seems they have finally looked at their player base, and made a decision that potentially alienates the maniacal few who crave MOAH HARCORZZ!!!, in order to boost player numbers.
