Disney Interactive is set to host a Toy Box Summit this weekend for Disney Infinity fans in Salt Lake City, at Avalanche Software's studios. Here, the company hopes to show the attendees just how easier the Toy Box mode is to use in the new Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes.

Using a variety of tools, users can interact with two primary systems. The first is Creators, which the player can place into the world in real-time, with a themed arrangement that will build that world in a matter of minutes. The second is Builders, where non-playable characters can drop into the Toy Box to build worlds at their will, in case players don't want to create them themselves.

Pre-built Toy Box games will also be available, featuring battle arenas, race tracks and other levels using items saved in personal Toy Box collections.

Other modes that will be included in the mode are Challenge Maker, Toy Box Game Maker, Text Creator and Creativi-Toys, which will all aid the user in creating their ultimate dream worlds within the game.

“The Disney Infinity Toy Box really hit a chord with players who over the past year have submitted hundreds of thousands of Toy Boxes to us as a part of our weekly Toy Box challenge,” said John Blackburn, Vice President and General Manager of Avalanche Software. “Our fan base is active and vocal, so when we scoped out our plans for Toy Box 2.0, we took their feedback into account and incorporated many of their requests, including more structured game play, tools that would make it easier to build Toy Boxes, the ability to go inside structures and more. We can’t wait to see what our talented fans are going to create this year.”

The trailer below highlights just how easy all of these features come together, as well as the expansive options available to share these worlds with other players.

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes will release on September 23rd for Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

really wish they'd take the "available for PC" tag off these trailers. it's not coming out for PC... at least not the proper game.
