First Post!

Friday, almost weekend already. Gonna replace my 3 year old 17" screen tomorrow, as currently I'm still running in the stone age resolution of 1024x768. Dont know yet whether to go with 19" or 21". Also for the Dutch readers (since I know we have them :) ), are there any stores here that sell the Microsoft optical mouse that is made for use in either left or right hands? I saw one in the US but didn't pick it up assuming they would be here too but I haven't seen any yet.

And yes, that comments search is really coming..

  • I'm sorry to go back so far, but I must comment on FreshView's view of abortion. He said:

"If she doesn't want it... then... she shouldn't be forced to keep it."

Wait. Right there. I respect your opinion on the issue, but don't you think that if the woman didn't want it (the baby), then she shouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place?

By the way, I see where you are coming from during the rest of the comment, but that one line struck me as "Duh!". If she doesn't want the child, too fucking bad. There is a time to choose whether or not she wants the child, and if it comes down to "I think I'll remove it from my body now", the that time has already passed her by. Thank you for allowing me to analyze your message.

  • The abortion issue is so overdone it isn't even funny. That's the only reason the press keeps it alive because noone can win that argument...good TV if a politician trips himself up.

Yeah..I want to elect a president based on his abortion beliefs. *sigh* Because he might apoint a supreme court justice who might return the favor of being appointed by banning/allowing abortion *another sigh* Aren't there more important issues?

Clancy's book "Executive Orders" was a pretty good read on all the crap a president has to go through like this.
