Electronic Arts saved the best for last with its Gamescom press conference today, introducing the return of the popular Conquest mode with the multiplayer portion of Battlefield: Hardline.

As with previous entries in the series, Conquest promises plenty of intense action between cops and criminals, as well as a variety of tools to get the job done. You can use non-lethal means if you prefer, arresting thugs and using a taser to bring them down, instead of automatically laying down gunfire. Of course, what's the fun in that…?
