Wild announced by Rayman creator Michel Ancel for PlayStation 4

Wild Sheep Studios is hard at work on this innovative open-world adventure.

Michel Ancel is usually known for creating artistically dynamic games, including the Rayman titles and the classic Beyond Good and Evil for Ubisoft. However, for his latest venture with his Wild Sheep Studios team, he's working with Sony on the innovative open-world adventure, Wild.

In it, you'll be able to explore an expansive universe, being able to play as any character you come across in the game, whether they're a human being or an animal. This changes the scope of how you play throughout, as there can be different ways to tackle missions or explore new areas.

Ancel stressed that situations could change depending on how you play, with something new opening up each time. Judging by what we've seen from the trailer (included below), he's certainly onto something.

Wild currently doesn't have a release date, but will likely find its way to the system in 2015.

That looks pretty freaking... well, wild, but I can't help but feel disappointed how Ancel is jumping from project to project with no news on Beyond Good & Evil 2.

Anyway, all these cool PS4 trailers are starting to get to me. If these don't make it to PC, I just might cave in and buy my first non-Nintendo console ever.
