Ubisoft's Far Cry 4 isn't just about taking part in the open battle in the country of Kyrat. It's also learning about new skills that can come in handy with your battles.

The publisher has announced that a new side adventure will be available in the forthcoming sequel, where you can actually play through the legendary tales of Shangra-La, learning skills from an ancient warrior that can assist you with your current battles within the city.

As you might guess, your weapons will be pretty primitive in this mode, but you'll learn the raw survival instincts necessary to get by.

On top of that, Ubisoft also shared more details the sharing features. With the  "Keys to Kyrat," you can sign on friends that don't have a copy of the game to join you during co-op missions. It's a pretty innovative sharing feature, and who knows, you might just convince them to buy it as well.

Far Cry 4 strikes consoles on November 18th.
