Pre-loading is a feature that's been quite handy on the PC front, as well as the PlayStation 4 with certain titles. But some folks have been wondering when such a service would come to the Xbox One. Today, Phil Spencer confirmed that it's not too far off.

Being able to pre-order and pre-download games on Xbox One is a service that will kick off next month with two of the console's highly anticipated releases, FIFA 15 and Forza Horizon 2. There's no word on when you'll be able to pre-order them, but the date doesn't seem too far off.

More games will follow in the months ahead, and there's no question that it'll be quite useful for avid fans of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Look for more information once a launch date is confirmed for the new system.
