Hotline Miami making PS4 debut next week

Because we can't get enough 8-bit carnage.

Hotline Miami became quite a hit when it debuted on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita a while back, so it should be no surprise that Devolver Digital and Dennaton Games are already hard at work on a sequel, Wrong Number. Still, for those of you that missed out on the carnage, you'll get a second chance, as the original Hotline will be making its debut on PS4 next week.

The game features all the carnage-filled action you've come to expect from the original, along with some contemporary changes that utilize the DualShock 4 controller. You can actually shake your peripheral to execute enemies instead of just pressing a button, and the touchpad enables you to look for (and lock onto) enemies, making it a little easier to get around a level. Notice we said "a little," though. You'll still need to fight to survive.

The game should retail for $9.99, but if you previously bought it for PS3 and PS Vita, it'll be free of charge, via the crossbuy program.
