The NBA MVP and cover athlete certainly does look life-like.

2K Sports is ready to unleash plenty of information on its forthcoming basketball sim NBA 2K15, but it decided to let MVP and cover star Kevin Durant strike first by posting the first gameplay video to his Instagram account.

The video, which is posted below, features a few seconds of gameplay from one of the current-gen versions of the game, as you can see its uncanny detail when it comes to capturing Durant's ebb and flow on the court, right down to dunking the ball.

More video and features will be revealed in the weeks ahead, but for now, enjoy the clip. Also, see if you can spot the fan with the big Durant head!

NBA 2K15 arrives for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PC and PlayStation 3 this October.

Looks like VC is back. Sadly this really ruins the long term playing for me. Still getting it but man, VC is Bullshit.

Virtual Currency that is earned by playing the game, and then used to purchase skill upgrades and stuff like that.

lol nice. But no, Virtual Currency. Basically you earn it in game but very little amounts since last year because you can buy it with RL money... and you need it for every single thing you do in this game.

2k14 has VC...idea is sound, implementation was tragic. you had to be online and 2k servers had to be up, or else you can't access the career mode. WTF? and even spending VC was bullshit. it took like 5-8sec for each purchase to go through. they should just keep it local.

More like 2K will have shit servers again this year which were always down. VC was a problem but servers being down all the time was worse.

Looks like 95% video game Kevin Durant, mixed with 5% video game Kendrick Perkins.

Hopefully pc gets the "next gen" engine this time around, im afraid we might be stuck with the 360/ps3 version until they stop making it for those platforms ><
