Even though Gearbox Software isn't working on the game on its own, the developer is working hand-in-hand with 2K Australia on Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel to make sure it's just as good as its previous two releases in the series. Today, 2K revealed a new behind-the-scenes video to show just how much effort is being put into the latest chapter of the series.

As you can see, the developers are having a lot of fun with the design of the game, as they get to traverse on the moon for the first time and play around with laser weapons. The gravity effect also has its own part with the gameplay, as you'll have to seek out oxygen charging stations and can jump really high in the air now. We're talking getting to the top of a tower in just seconds, folks. SECONDS.

The ground charge also plays a huge part in the game, as you can slam down with the butt stomp and throw an enemy off, if not destroy them completely. (There's also a discussion between whether it's a "butt slam" or "butt stomp," because, you know, it's an important discussion.)

2K Australia and Gearbox will continue to release these videos as time goes on, so be sure to check back for new episodes. And if you somehow missed the first one, don't fret, as we've posted it below for you to enjoy.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel arrives this October for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
