Even though the buzz behind Transformers: Age of Extinction (if you can call it buzz) has passed, Activision is continuing to put a push behind its sub-licensed game Rise of the Dark Spark, with the confirmation of new downloadable content for the game.

Available now for Xbox Live, Steam and PlayStation Network, the content features a number of new Decepticon characters to play in the multiplayer Escalation survival mode, along with new weapons.

Stinger, Skywarp and Thundercracker are available for $1.99 apiece, while you can get your hands on the Glass Gas Cannon (yes, that's a thing) and the Electro Bolter for $.99 a pop. If you prefer to buy it all in one shot, you can get the complete package for $5.99.

However, the content isn't yet available for the Wii U version of the game, and Activision has yet to confirm a release for it.

Meanwhile, if you're still leering from whatever Age of Extinction was (or how Rise of the Dark Spark, which could've been better), here's a piece Stan Bush's "The Touch" to cheer you up.

Robert Workman was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

It should be pointed out this DLC has been out for like 2 weeks on Steam not sure about PSN and Live but given how the game is dead its not news and its way out of date even if it was news.

Thanks for the Stan Bush, the song warms my heart. Also, it is featured in Saints Row IV. Unfortunately (fortunately) in twenty years people won't have the same positive feeling for Linkin Park's Transformer songs.
