Seeing as how Tomb Raider found new life on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 earlier this year with a new Definitive Edition, Square Enix has opted to do the same with another popular release. This time, it's Sleeping Dogs.

The Definitive Edition of United Front Games' awesome third-person action/adventure will release on October 14th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will feature bumped-up visuals that take advantage of each console's hardware, along with all the respective DLC that's been released included in the package. It's set to sell for $59.99.

In addition, those who pre-order the game can get bumped up to a special Limited Edition, which includes a 28-page art book filled with concept drawings and other goodies.

The original Sleeping Dogs was generally well received, especially considering it once started life as an entry in Activision's True Crime series before being picked up by Square Enix. Check out the game's original trailer for more kung fu and racing goodness.
