With Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call set to take the stage later this year, Square Enix has announced a contest that will allow fans to show their creative music side, in the hopes of winning some Final Fantasy-related prizes.

Beginning on August 5th, fans will have the opportunity to create and upload a music video of themselves performing the main theme of Final Fantasy any way they see fit. The videos must be approximately one minute and thirty seconds long, and should include a sign from participants that points out their favorite Final Fantasy game.

Judging will then be done by Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu, and the winners shall receive some big prizes. Those include a grand prize of a complimentary trip for two to attend the upcoming Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy concert. Other prizes include a signed collector's edition of Theatrhythm, a limited edition Japanese 3DS Theatrhythm system, and a Final Fantasy Static Arts Mini Figure.

More details on the contest can be found on the Theatrhythm game page, and you can check out Destructoid's Dale North providing an example of how to submit a video below. Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call arrives in stores on September 16th for the 3DS.
