Drivers that are ready to start their cross-country trek across the United States won't have to wait much longer to do so. In fact, The Crew's closed beta will begin earlier than expected. Previously set to kick off on July 23, players can now jump in on July 21 and explore the game's world for a full five-day period.

To prepare users for their week-long ride, Ubisoft and Ivory Tower have released a closed beta walkthrough video, explaining the various aspects of The Crew. This includes car customization, the game's RPG elements, the open-world missions, and how to connect with your friends.

There's still time to sign up for the beta if you haven't already. Simply visit The Crew's website. The Crew will hit PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on November 11.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
