There's a good chance that anyone that has ever played with toys as a child likely came across Hot Wheels. It's ubiquitous, practically synonymous with toy cars. Forza Motorsport 5 would like to honor this time-honored line of miniature favorites by releasing the new Hot Wheels Car Pack DLC.

The full list of cars featured in the Hot Wheels Car Pack includes the following:

  • 2013 Lamborghini Veneno

  • 1974 Toyota Celica GT

  • 1939 Audi Auto Union Type D

  • 1967 Lotus Type 49

  • 2013 Mazda #7 Andretti Autosport USF2000

  • 1952 Ferrari 375

  • 2015 Audi S3 Sedan

  • 1956 Ford F-100

  • 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT

  • 1983 GMC Vandura G-1500

Seven of the ten cars available are all-new to the Forza series, including the 2013 Lamborghini Veneno, which honors Lamborghini's 50th anniversary. Full images of the cars can be found on Xbox Wire or in the trailer below.

The Hot Wheels Car Pack is available now for $9.99 or as part of the game's Car Pass. And of course, all of the cars will be unlocked immediately upon purchase. Unfortunately, the DLC does not come with the ability to blow up bridges.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
