Disney Infinity's Toy Box mode has attracted some straight-up geniuses, creating the kind of diabolically cool levels that Disney itself couldn't help but share with the community. The company is hosting an event where these creative types can get together and show what they can do within the virtual world, just in time for the release of Disney Infinity 2.0.

The Disney Infinity Toy Box Summit will take place from August 15-17 in Salt Lake City, Utah, hosted by the development team at Avalanche Software. It will act as a competition between the highest-rated content makers of Toy Box content. From there, it will be "leveraged" during the launch of the new Disney Infinity pack, which features Marvel superheroes, although the company didn't quite detail what that implies.

For those who can't make the Summit, there's still a way to take part. Disney will run a video contest where fans can create their favorite Disney movie using Infinity's Toy Box set-up, using Fan Kits with "approved music, graphics and game capture tutorials." Three winners will get a chance to attend the Summit, all expenses paid, while ten runners-up will snag a Captain America figure from the new pack.

Official details on the Summit and the competition can be found on the official page. Good luck!
