EA and Visceral would like to finish up their Battlefield Hardline beta with a bang. So they're going to take the beta's final days and give players a chance to use all of the available weapons to make the war on the streets just a little more intense.

The Battlefield blog issued the good news earlier today for both PC and PS4 users, while also reminding users that more weapons are on the way in the game's final version.

PC users that have been having netcode issues should also see improved connectivity, thanks to a new patch. Those patch notes are available here. If you haven't jumped into the beta yet, find a code and jump in. It's set to end on June 26.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

This games feels really slow and clunky, so far... Almost feels like the jump button is useless...

Useless for what? I'm able to get over most waist-high obstacles with it. That's it's primary purpose.

Only took one match, will have to find another game to play the shit out of this fall, not going to be that one.

Yeah, I was not impressed. And anyone who says "well its a Beta", we all know that to DICE/EA, a "Beta" is just a server load test and the game is basically finished. Even calling it a server load test is a load of shit in its own right, being a DICE game.

It feels way too much like a mod for BF4.

Why do people keep bringing up DICE when talking about this game? They're not involved.

Well they are involved per several interviews with EA about the game, they are just not the main studio making it. Also Battlefield has always been DICE so it is easy to lose track of.

I must be playing a different game then all of you because I thought the two game modes available were loads of fun. The most recent patches added the "high frequency updates" just as BF4 did so that at least mitigated some of the net code troubles.

I know DICE is the (beat down de jour company) right now but point me to another FPS that has full sandbox open warfare with vehicles and I'll go play it. I cant find one, so until there is another choice I'll see this through.
