Kenn Hoekstra was also feeling frisky enough to do another interview here talking about SoF gold edition and all of the enhancements to be included, looks like the AI changes will impact the single player game as well. Also, here is a bit more information on the add-on from SoFCenter.

It also updates game AI and adds multiplayer bots. I'm really happy about that more than anything else.

I have to assume SOF is still not going to be all that great, unless you like over elaborate death sequences that take 30 frames of animation.
