Trials Fusion has a new update, one that introduces new online tournaments into the fold.

With players trying to complete the challenging (yet not impossible) courses in Trials Fusion, it's about time their skills were put to the test against each other. Today, Ubisoft announced a new update for the game that will bring on online tournaments, letting stunt riders prove their worth or humiliatingly crash and burn.

With the update, players will be able to take part in a variety of challenges across multiple tournaments, including completing tracks in the fastest time possible. In addition, ten new player created tracks are now available through Track Central, providing even more difficult terrain to race across.

Tournaments will only be available for a limited amount of time, and those who take part will have a chance to win biker gear, new bike parts and experience points, which they can use to level up their riders. The higher you rank in the tournament, the better goodies you'll get.

In addition, Ubisoft has also stated that downloadable content for the game will begin rolling out this summer, as part of the Season Pass program packaged with digital and retail copies of the game. No dates were given, but you should probably expect a lot more tracks. The tourney update is available now on all platforms, and is free of charge.
