In its second appearance on a stage today, Ubisoft showed off another trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity, along with a lengthy gameplay demo. It also dropped a release date: October 28.

The demo this time didn't revolve so much around the co-op announced this morning, but instead focused on the fidelity of the city. Sure, it's still about taking down the rich, but the real meat of this demo was the visuals. The streets look crowded, and absolutely filthy. Check it out below.

I have a good feeling that the "gameplay" demo will be similar to what they did with watchdogs.

There was a Shacker who worked on this posting about it when the first footage dropped and he claimed it really does look like that in playable form right now.

And given that this game is launching in less than 6 months, I think it's safe to say this isn't a target render.

maybe, it wasn't as spectacular as what the Watchdogs vert-slice piece was, but after so many issues with these schemes of showing higher fidelity "gameplay" trailers then only to have the real product be lesser quality after release, I always take these things with a few pounds of salt now.

Watch Dogs on a 780 GTX is absolutely breath taking. I think the whole "this game was created by 200 artists" and texture quality is all over the place is what you see when the game is running on high or lower settings. At Ultra settings, this game looks consistently just like what they showed in the trailers, and in many cases, way better.

It looks quite good but if you compare them side by side the E3 reveal had a lot more going on graphically.

Except this is coming out in a few months whereas watchdogs was years away.
