Platinum Games' Hideki Kamiya took the stage at Microsoft's E3 press conference to show Scalebound, and announce it as an Xbox One exclusive. A trailer showed off an adventurer beset by monsters, taking them down with the help of his own dragon. Naturally.

I thought this was a Devil May Cry. The main character guy looks like the new rebooted series Dante

That was my first thought too. Though the guy who pretty much created the original DMC is one of the founders of Platinum so it makes some sense.

And if I had actually read the linked story I would have seen that it says he was the one presenting it during the press conference.

Haha, almost thought that Platinum games would now be only making great games on Wii U, but nice to see they are still free to do what they want. Kamiya is such a crazy cool guy.

Shame it's another console exclusive, but I'm sure Platinum will be going that way a lot in this generation. I expect them to be making exclusives for all three platforms in the future and also making more multiplatform games.
