The brief demo also showed off some of the game's dialogue choices, which were exercised after clearing off a village of bandits. Certain selections are said to intersect with open world events, creating new quest possibilities. The next sequence showed off a battle with a monstrous fire-breathing griffin, which had to be subdued with both melee combat and magic. The demo ended with a triumphant return to the village with the griffin's head.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to release in February.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

One thing I'll say is hunting seems kind of sad if he's always going to be chasing and slaughtering things that don't want to fight him.

That's fine by me if he's going to eat that thing but he just took the head. Makes him look like a little-dick-syndrome type hunter.

I'm sure it will be positioned like you are killing some beast that is terrorizing villagers or something.

If that's the big choice that you struggle with in this game, I wonder how you will finish it.

I bet he belongs to the NBA, the National Bow Association. Complains about the cost and scarcity of arrows every few minutes in game and routinely carries his bow around in public until someone calls the local guards.

Did amazon sell out of the collector's edition? Or have they not taken orders on it yet?
... I want the hard-copy of the art book, not too sure about the rest of the stuff included.

The Polish version of TW3's collector edition sold out in a matter of minutes if I remember right.
