Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare gets DLC first on Microsoft consoles

Microsoft's Phil Spencer opened this year's Microsoft E3 Media Briefing by revealing a new trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Spencer accompanied the trailer with the announcement that, just as in years past, Microsoft consoles would be the first to receive DLC and map packs.

The trailer revealed some of the campaign action that can be expected, with a notable futuristic setting. Carnage rained down across a sci-fi metropolis filled with skyscrapers. It all served as a backdrop for what can best be described as classic Call of Duty action.

Microsoft has previously had timed exclusive Call of Duty DLC on prior games in the series, including Ghosts and Black Ops II.
