Arma 3 Karts goes from April Fools joke to real DLC pack

We all had a good laugh over Arma 3's April Fools joke about adding Karts DLC. Today, Bohemia Interactive delivers the true punch line by revealing that the DLC is real.

Shacknews had a good laugh over some of this year's April Fools jokes. Titanfall adding Transformers? Funny! Tropico getting llamas? Funny! Arma 3 adding Karts DLC? That's downright hilarious! And today, Bohemia Interactive delivered perhaps the greatest punch line of all by revealing that the Karts DLC is actually real.

The Arma 3 Karts DLC adds 20HP 4-stroke engine go-karts to the world. New characters include the Racer (with matching racing helmet) and the Marshal, to help keep things safe. Various objects, like traffic cones and starter pistols, have also been added to give players a chance to build their own tracks. Those looking to race on pre-made tracks can participate in Time Trials across five checkpoint races or race against their friends in multiplayer.

Arma 3 Karts is now available for $1.99 on Steam, with portions of sales going to the Czech Red Cross.
