PlayStation Plus June line-up marks some changes

Sony announced the June line-up for PlayStation Plus today, along with some changes to how the games will be rolled out.

Sony outlined the June line-up for PlayStation Plus today, and starting next month it's all going to be even-steven. Now that PlayStation has three active platforms to its name, the company has opted to offer two games per month, per system from now on. And the first salvo in this new move is pretty impressive.

PlayStation Plus is also getting a few changes after the June games. Rather than a game or two being offered on a weekly basis and kept in action for months, they will all hit at once on the first Tuesday of every month. After that point they'll remain available for the entire month, and then they'll get swapped out with the next month's installments. Sony says the current library will be phased out "in the coming weeks," so grab them while you can. Keep in mind you don't necessarily need to download the game--simply marking it as "purchased" will keep it on your account.

Take a look at the line-up below, from the PlayStation Blog.

But they are giving you NBA2K14, not NBA2K13.

Unimpressive lineup for June. I knew they couldn't keep up the pace from the early months of '14.

I bought and installed it a while back but absolutely couldn't make sense of the controls.

The controls are tricky even on a PC.

Late spring and summer is pretty sad in general when it comes to gaming.

Yeah there usually at least one or two decent games that make it out. Otherwise summer tends to be the time I mess around with MMOs and some backlog stuff.

I hope a bunch of the unannounced or no eta games make it out. Will give me something to do besides hating my life and mowing the lawn.

I usually half watch the chatty for oddball games that people pick up on. Ended up picking up FTL, Day Z, Banished, Terraria, Crusader Kings II, and a few other games that way.

All good games. I still need to play Banished. Hoping for a sale or some beefy updates to the game. Just a single guy working on that game so not expecting big things.

Shooter made me sad, because it felt like Q-Games started catering for the mainstream with "normal" games :/

I played it, it was ok - you know? I enjoyed it, it was kinda fun but it wasn't anything close to Eden or Monsters to me - I'd gladly buy them over and over again but ALL their other stuff doesn't do it for me like those 2.
