Making good on the teases dropped yesterday, PopCap has announced that Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is coming to PlayStation platforms on August 19. That means it will hit both PS3 and PS4 simultaneously, and the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down expansions will be available from day one.

According to the announcement, it will run at 1080p and 60fps on PlayStation 4. You can use Remote Play with the Vita, or take on the Boss Mode feature through the PlayStation App. Split-screen co-op will also be playable on the PS4, similar to how the feature was exclusive to Xbox One and didn't appear on 360.

This game was a pleasant surprise for me. In some cases my son and I enjoy it more than Titanfall. PS4 peeps should try it out.
