A leaked trailer for Battlefield: Hardline reveals even more details, including the TV-inspired cop drama campaign and the modes in multiplayer.

The good ship EA has sprung a sizable leak, and more details about Battlefield: Hardline have come pouring out. This time it's in the form of a lengthy trailer, complete with developer commentary, that explains the game modes and story.

EA pulled the leaked trailer (via Polygon), but naturally another one popped up just as quickly. The video below may get similarly pulled down, but not before we mine it for details. DICE is handling the multiplayer, while Visceral Games is making the campaign.

The police-focused adventure takes its cues from TV cop dramas. Each episode ends with a cliffhanger, and is meant to be played multiple times in different ways. To that end, it features voices from Justified, The Americans, and House of Cards--though the narration doesn't mention specific actors.

It also teases the destructibility of environments that will hit a little closer to home with more familiar American settings, along with "Levolution" events to alter the structure of stages as you play. Multiplayer features cops-vs-criminals scenarios.

We first heard about Hardline yesterday. It's set for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

So... besides clearly jumping the shark, they've now gone back and stolen stuff from older BF games?

Anyone else remembering those grappling hooks from BF2:Special Forces? I've never been so disappointed in the direction a franchise has taken. This looks like equal parts PayDay, GTA, Need For Speed and Bad Company. Not that any of those are bad by themselves, but this is just some bizarre mashup.

Sure as hell not buying that POS. Guess BF4 will be the last Battlefield I will ever buy.
