The Walking Dead: Season Two

Senior Editor

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

        Confuse.
Buy The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
Buy The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut

Which is better, one is 4$ one is 2$
presumably the 4$ - does the 2$ contents get included with the 4$ version
        Such confuse

Sorry, I'm dumb - it's the lack of a 2 missing from the other one.

How does the Shack feel about the PC versions of Bioshock 1 and 2? I'd love to play them on the gaming machine but I keep remembering things about 'shitty FOV' or something.

      • reply
        May 23, 2014 7:14 PM

The FOV was no worse than every other console port that's come out on the PC since then. So if you're ok with that, then it's fine. Also, I'm sure there's a workaround to increase it.

I honesty don't have problems with crappy FOV ports (from what I've played.. Looking at you Borderlands 1), but do prefer them to be 90-100.

Having said that I've only played Bioshock 1 and it was by far one of the most delightful stories ever to be told in a FPS.

I got the PC version of Bioshock 1 as a free bonus for pre-ordering Bioshock Infinite. On several occasions I have attempted to get it functioning. Never have I actually succeeded. Your mileage may vary but getting it working in WIn 7 and newer is very, very difficult.

Bioshock 1 has some of the worst mouse code since the lithtech engine, it's fucking vile.
