Watch Dogs launch trailer prepares for cyber-terrorism

Watch Dogs is right around the corner now, and the extended promotional cycle means you're probably pretty familiar with the basic gist by now: Chicago man is wronged, man puts on a scarf and uses techno-tools to get revenge. The launch trailer isn't exactly packed with new details, but at this point a slick video cut like a movie trailer will do the trick.

Watch Dogs releases May 27, with a season pass that will let you hunt cyborgs. You know, just like in the real Chicago.

This game has every bad AAA-gaming cliche wrapped up in one neat package.

It looks like it melds all the things I hate about GTA with all the things I hate about Gears of War, with a story where someone uses the words "shitshow" in a non-ironic context.

am I the only one that can't see how this game differentiates from other open worlders?

All I am really seeing is an open world gunplay game except you can hit switches at a distance.

I like the setting from a plot perspective but I don't see much in terms of how the setting will accommodate unique game play.
