People bring up the "need protective gear for the chainsaw interrogation" as a negative but I see it as a massive positive. I think he didn't need the gear, but he wanted the gear to aid with the buildup of fear leading to the interrogation.

Which would be more unsettling to you: your interrogator just grabbing a chainsaw and threatening you or your interrogator calmly putting on the apron, then the glasses and then picking up the chainsaw and approaching you?

It's Blazkowicz. He's intimidating enough. After all, he just killed all the Nazis in that guy's squad...

I was just thinking the other day that more websites should revisit games to see if they still like or detest them after hype wears off. Great idea, though I'd change one thing: revisit the game a little later. Three days removed isn't much time to absorb a game and sort out initial feelings, which review embargoes and the need to get a review up to compete for page clicks interferes with. I'd hold out for a week at a minimum.

yeah it's a great idea. i can't tell you how many times i've said HOLY SHIT THIS GAME IS AWESOME after only playing for a few hours and then never touch it again. i just did it with Child Of Light.

the opposite happened with Skyrim. played it for a few hours when it came out and hated it... went back about a month later and couldn't stop playing it.

No kidding. I finished it off last night. Other than the end being kinda shitty and not really resolving a major issue that I'm sure will be DLC at some point I really liked the game.
