Far Cry 4 announced, coming this November

Far Cry 4 welcomes you

The pre-E3 promotion continues to build, as Ubisoft has unveiled a sequel in the Far Cry franchise. Far Cry 4 is coming for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 18th. It will get a full unveiling next month at Ubisoft's E3 press conference.

Transistor studio details new game plus 'Recursion Mode'

Transistor, Supergiant's follow-up to Bastion, is due out next week. And like Bastion, Supergiant Games has made sure there's something to entice you back after you finish for the first time, in the form of a new game plus feature they're calling "Recursion Mode."

The Stanley Parable Announcer Pack adds dry British humour to Dota 2

"This is the story of a man named Stanley. Stanley worked for a company in a big building where he was Employee #427. Employee #427's job was simple: he sat at his desk in Room 427 and he played Dota 2 every day of every month of every year." Wait, that's not how that story goes. There's certainly no "Dota 2" in The Stanley Parable. But Dota 2 is getting a dose of The Stanley Parable now that the latter game's popular British-accented Narrator has been included in the latest Dota 2 Announcer Pack.

But while this entry doesn't reinvent the wheel, it shows a playful spirit, refinement, and attention to detail that has been missing in the last few entries.
