A Story About My Uncle, a whimsical first-person platformer, will launch on Steam at the end of this month. Developer Gone North Games announced today that it's slated for May 28, and a new trailer shows off its visual style.

The story is narrated by a father telling his daughter a fantastical bedtime story. As a child, he wanted to follow his uncle on adventures, and the story has him finding one of his uncle's inventions to go on a journey through underground caves. That invention is a powerful grappling hook device, and Gone North prides itself in the emphasis on story and its non-violent themes.
