I finally got around to checking out this demo last night and I gotta say I was impressed with the gfx, character fluidity, the texture/world detail (and the faint hint of a camel toe :). I also thought the tutorial/training segment was very well done. Weapon diversity and combo attacks rocked... loved the battle axe.
One thing sucked: Damn mosquitos!!!
(How many pixels does it take to make the perfect ass?)

Yeah, fucknuts, it's called THIRDPERSON perspective, real ingenious...
LOL
At any rate.
Warez.. whatever. I know that all of you are using some sort of pirated software, and if you really believed in that shit you would have paid for every single fucking program that exists on your hard disk (aside from the lame freebie sample programs that come with hardware).
So if you use Warez'ed programs, programs that your co-workers/friends/whatever bought, and you burned. Whatever. You are supporting it and you are a hypocrite if you say anything else.
And btw Lethel, where the hell have you been? All you are is a tool for the other guy who admitted he was you.

The graphics are really nice but, just like Elite Force, no-one yet has managed to make the quake3 engine look better than id themselves.
I'm not sure what it is but the texture artists at id seem always to get everything to look really good together with no jarring textures next to eachother. Nothing too overstated.
Or maybe i just like skulls ... :)

Fakk2 has 24 REAL maps and at least an hour of in-game cinematics. Well worth my $39.99 in my opinion. When games like Tomb Raider have 10 or 12 maps. Sure they are huge, but you spend half your time running around doing NOTHING. Wheeee, let's dish out the bucks for that title!
Fakk2 is great for the price. I don't think I would have been as happy if it were a 59.99 dollar game, or even 49.99. But for $40, it's perfect.
Sure, it would be better with multiplayer, but I have faith in the fact that the game is expandable enough for multiplayer to be a great after market or internet add-on. Also, Ritual has said many times that they plan on doing something multiplayer with the game. I'm looking very forward to a multiplayer version of fakk2.

I'm buying this game... it'll hold my over 'til Neverwinter Nights or maybe even Obi-Wan (if it doesn't suck).
Btw, www.compuexpert.com has great prices on games. I'm not paying 49.99. ;)
And Diablo 2 was a ripoff. 75 bucks for CE? heh.
This has nothing to do with FAKK, but for anyone who has played a lot of V1.0 RA3, it is DAMN funny:
