Game Motion Sickness

It offers quotes from people who experience this sickness, and also some quotes by Scott Miller from 3D Realms. He thinks graphics realism might be involved. I have actually experienced this myself in some FPS games, but not recently.
Yet, oddly, sim sickness is rarely acknowledged by game makers, much less addressed in gaming technology. As Steve Polge, a programmer for Epic Games, which made the Unreal titles, admits: "I don't think it's a focus of game development [throughout the industry]. But ANY FPS, even thief (which doesn't have so many situations where you whip your head 180 degrees in ,001 seconds) makes me queasy.
Sometimes I can play for hours before it kicks in, sometimes 15 minutes, but when I start feeling it I just have to sit down and let it pass.
I think the sensation that comes to mind when thinking of fps games for me is: "it's like having a camera attached to your forehead" And it's just not natural movement.
Also it's not because I'm a "wuss", it's how a brain works. Some people faint at the sight of blood and it's not because they are wusses, it's how a brain works. Same with phobias - Irrational fears, can't just forget about them.
