Surgeon Simulator adding alien patients to iPad version

If there haven't been enough human patients to operate on and/or butcher horribly, Bossa Studios is about to offer some more subjects for the operating table. Surgeon Simulator 2013 on iPad will soon receive a free update that features alien patients, because aliens have parts that need removing, too.

Surgeon Simulator has been out for roughly two months on iPad, having also added teeth and eye transplants to its tablet version. And even though the language of the blood-curdling scream is pretty universal, developer Bossa Nova has added 13 new localized languages to the game's first major iPad update, which is available now.

Surgeon Simulator is available now on the App Store for $5.99.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
