Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails, the indie debut from studio Dakko Dakko, is coming to the Wii U eShop next week. The frenetic 2D platformer-shooter will hit on May 15 for $9.99.

Scram Kitty has you navigate around a 360 degree railway, hopping and blasting enemies along the way. It features a "Challenge Mode" to free as many cats as possible from the space station, and then you can share your score via Miiverse. That all might sound truly insane, but it will make slightly more sense after you watch the trailer.
