The first batch of screenshots for Tales from the Borderlands showed up today, giving a better look at the art style, dialogue choices, and some notable series cameos.
Today Telltale Games released the first screenshots of its cross-studio project set in Gearbox's playground, Tales from the Borderlands. It looks, as you might imagine, a whole lot like the sketchy Borderlands art style, with a few clear signs of Telltale influence.
Most obvious are the dialogue boxes, complete with a timer to answer. The faces look a bit more expressive too, which makes sense for a more story-driven Borderlands game. The full set of screens gives a better look at the dual protagonists, along with a few notable cameos from other games.
