S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha standalone mod revamps the original game

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha is a mod that attempts to not only restore the content cut from the original game, but update it with modern graphics and gameplay. "It became more than just a modification, it became our dream game, how we saw S.T.A.L.K.E.R.," the dez0wave team explained.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha is a mod that attempts to not only restore the content cut from the original game, but update it with modern graphics and gameplay. "It became more than just a modification, it became our dream game, how we saw S.T.A.L.K.E.R.," the dez0wave team explained. The standalone mod is now available on Mod DB, but dez0wave says that while "it looks awesome, it plays just fine, but somehow its still not perfect." Like the original developers at GSC Game World, the team discovered that polishing everything simply isn't possible. "Overall I would say we did a good job."

      Are there any new Stalker games coming in the next year or so? I really enjoyed the original (Pripyat didn't cause as much dread while playing) and I may have to try out this mod.

      It fucking owns too. Looks absolutely amazing and has been completely stable for me so far. Best part is it's free so there is absolutely no reason not to play.

          Nope. This is a stand alone game. Just download the files and install.
