"I have to go home tomorrow to start writing Resident Evil," Anderson said at the Beijing International Film Festival. CCTV (via Polygon) reports that the film's tentative title will be Resident Evil: Rising.

Anderson added that actress Li Bingbing would return as Ada Wong after she previously played the character in 2012's Resident Evil: Retribution. It is unknown whether Milla Jovovich will return as Alice, the central character of the previous movies.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

I hate these films. They're terrible. And I absolutely know that I'm part of the problem because I keep giving them my money to sit there and shake my head and go "No, that's so bad."

What do you think will release first: the seventh Resident Evil movie, or Resident Evil 7 (the game)?

The first couple were decent then they've got progressively worse.

I'll admit they are a guilty pleasure movie series for me. I know they aren't good movies. But they aren't bad movies either. Once you get past the "there is no real tie to the video game series, besides a few characters" they are a stupid fun movie. I own all of them and don't regret the purchase.

Milla Jovovich is smoking hot. I'd watch her in a "Happy Days" movie if they made one.
That being said, can we kill a few more zombies and get a little less cloth in there?

Tell it like it is man. The first one was good. Now I only watch them for her. I love her.

Whatever, I'll watch it. These flicks are just dumb fun.

Why would anyone pay good money to watch any of these movies in a theater? I can understand watching it when it's on tv or it happens to be uploaded to youtube but throwing away more than $2 to watch this garbage is dumb.
