Project CARS video compares the game to real life (and wins)

A new video pits the game against real life, with BMW cars racing a lap at Laguna Seca in the real and virtual worlds. And which version reigns supreme? Unfortunately for reality, we'd say the game wins.

Perhaps the biggest selling point of Slightly Mad Studios' crowdfunded racing game Project CARS is the graphics. We're not entirely sure what kind of voodoo magic is responsible for these visuals, but they're unquestionably impressive.

A new video (via Kotaku) pits the game against real life, with BMW cars racing a lap at Laguna Seca in the real and virtual worlds. The game is set to "Ultra" graphics on a Radeon HD 7850 OC with a Logitech G27 steering wheel. And which version reigns supreme? Unfortunately for reality, we'd say the game wins. It doesn't look as worn down as the real-world counterpart.
