Remember when games like Banjo-Kazooie were pretty much all you could find at GameStop? The 3D platformer has waned in popularity since, but that isn't stopping Mimimi Productions and Unity Games from making a classically-styled 3D platforming game of their own. The Last Tinker: City of Colors has players controlling Koru, a cheerful and acrobatic boy, who must return color to the aptly-named world of Colortown.

Along the way, he'll jump, collect, and fight baddies with various color-themed abilities. Each color represents a certain mood, and you'll be able to use them to solve various puzzles throughout the environment. Eventually, he'll have to confront the Bleakness, the mysterious force the robbed the world of its color in the first place. The visuals are quite spiffy, and the productions are excellent for a game made by a small indie team. The game will be available on PC, Mac, and Linux on May 12th for $21.99. The team is also working on an Xbox One version, coming via ID@Xbox.
