The wait is over for PC players, especially for the numerous fans that populate the Shacknews community. Dark Souls II is out now on Steam, hours before its announced April 25 release date.

Steam's listing for From Software's PC version of Dark Souls II is available for purchase right now. Before picking it up, double check that your PC specs are up to snuff.

  Seriously the frame rate is awesome.. have a good 100+ hours on ps3 and this is an entirely new game im playing.... we had been missing so MUCH of the animations with the average 20FPS haha
