MLB: The Show PS4 trailer shows off next-gen facial hair

A new trailer shows off the completely redesigned stadiums, the brand new lighting engine, and the upgraded crowds. But, what’s the most next-gen feature of the PS4 version? It’s clearly the hair.

Although the PS4 version of MLB: The Show 14 is coming in a bit late, the updated graphics will probably be worth the wait for baseball fans. A new trailer shows off the completely redesigned stadiums, the brand new lighting engine, and the upgraded crowds. But, what’s the most next-gen feature of the PS4 version? It’s clearly the hair.

Sony San Diego community manager Ramone Russell explains that the PS4 version has player hair “rendered down to the last blade,” giving players sumptuous braids and luscious beards. Clearly, that’s what next-gen is all about.

    I think for about 2-3 years until we have 'next-gen' versions of all our favorite games
