Another month, another million. Just one month after Sony announced 6 million sales for its PS4 console, the company is ready to hoot its horn yet again.
The company has announced global sales of more than 7 million units as of April 6. According to SCE president Andrew House, that figure makes PS4 the "next generation console of choice." The console is currently available in 72 countries and regions, and House claims the company is "still facing difficulties keeping up with the strong demand worldwide."
In addition, the console has a software attach rate of nearly 3, with 20.5 million software sales across retail and digital. Sony claims that approximately 120 games are coming to PS4 by the end of the year, including oft-delayed racer Driveclub and The Order: 1886.
