BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma finally hit North American shores when it hit PS3 back on March 25. Aksys is now preparing the promised Vita version and has revealed that it will hit the Sony handheld on June 24.

The Vita version of Chrono Phantasma will include everything in the PS3 version, an impressive feat considering that Aksys previously ruled out an Xbox 360 version of the game due to its massive size. It will also add a helpful recap of the events of the previous BlazBlue games, Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift, in order to catch players up before resuming Ragna's journey.

Chrono Phantasma on Vita will also feature an enhanced Abyss Mode and "additional story content." And by that, of course, Aksys means they're featuring footage of the game's characters on the beach in bathing suits... for some reason.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
