FRACT 'music exploration game' coming to PC on April 22

Described as a "musical exploration game," FRACT is finally coming out on April 22. According to developer Phosfiend Systems, players will explore an "unfamiliar landscape to discover the secrets of an abandoned world that was once built on sound." By solving puzzles, you'll bring the world back to life and create music in the game.

Indie Jeff saw it more than two years ago, and was impressed (and intimidated?) by the game's unique musical creation tools.

Being able to create music to solve puzzles is certainly novel, but it doesn't hurt that FRACT looks gorgeous. This early dev diary goes into how you can explore, create, and rebuild in the game:

Although FRACT's official release date was only recently revealed, the community actually managed to figure out the date much sooner by overlaying tease trailers together. Take a look and see how they pieced it all together thread. The game is now available for pre-order with a 10% discount.
