The centerpiece of the update is a new track: the Long Beach circuit, delivering eleven turns across 1.97 miles. This weekend's 40th Toyota Grand Prix is being held at the track. As with previous free tracks, the Long Beach track will be fully integrated into the game, adding new events in Career mode, new Rivals, and more. While the track will be free, there's additional content available for-pay. The "Long Beach Booster Pack" will offer five cars: the 1977 Ford Coyote Gilmore77, the 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale, the 1956 Jaguar D-Type, the 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG Mercedes CLK GTR, and the 1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P. The pack is included as part of the DLC Car Pass. Purchased cars won't need to be unlocked with in-game currency; a new feature now allows DLC cars to be unlocked immediately after purchase.
