Battlefield 4's Battlelog site is receiving a new update today. In addition to introducing remote loadout presets, the update will also add some additional features for Platoons, which will make it easier to track down platoon members and lend them a hand.

Battlelog's newest update will introduce a new 'Servers' tab that will show any Platoon members currently in action, including what server they're occupying. Players will then have the option to jump directly into their comrade's game, provided it hasn't reached its maximum capacity.

The Battlfield adds that this update will include an increased Platoon member cap, automated subscriptions to member wall posts and comments, and various bug fixes. The full changelist can be found here.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
